Everyone and his grandma know what cryptocurrency mining is. Well, they may not indeed know what it actually is, in technical terms, but they have definitely heard the phrase as it is hard to miss the news about mining sucking in energy like a black hole gobbles up matter. On the other hand, staking, its little bro, has mostly been hiding in the shadows until recently.submitted by Stealthex_io to StealthEX [link] [comments]
Today, with DeFi making breaking news across the cryptoverse, staking has become a new buzzword in the blockchain space and beyond, along with the fresh entries to the crypto asset investor’s vocabulary such as “yield farming”, “rug pull”, “total value locked”, and similar arcane stuff. If you are not scared off yet, then read on. Though we can’t promise you won’t be.
Cryptocurrency staking, little brother of crypto miningThere are two conceptually different approaches to achieving consensus in a distributed network, which comes down to transaction validation in the case of a cryptocurrency blockchain. You are most certainly aware of cryptocurrency mining, which is used with cryptocurrencies based on the Proof-of-Work (PoW) consensus algorithm such as Bitcoin and Ether (so far). Here miners compete against each other with their computational resources for finding the next block on the blockchain and getting a reward.
Another approach, known as the Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism, is based not on the race among computational resources as is the case with PoW, but on the competition of balances, or stakes. In simple words, every holder of at least one stake, a minimally sufficient amount of crypto, can actively participate in creating blocks and thus also earn rewards under such network consensus model. This process came to be known as staking, and it can be loosely thought of as mining in the PoS environment.
With that established, let’s now see why, after so many years of what comes pretty close to oblivion, it has turned into such a big thing.
Why has staking become so popular, all of a sudden? The renewed popularity of staking came with the explosive expansion of decentralized finance, or DeFi for short. Essentially, staking is one of the ways to tap into the booming DeFi market, allowing users to earn staking rewards on a class of digital assets that DeFi provides easy access to. Technically, it is more correct to speak of DeFi staking as a new development of an old concept that enjoys its second coming today, or new birth if you please. So what’s the point?
With old-school cryptocurrency staking, you would have to manually set up and run a validating node on a cryptocurrency network that uses a PoS consensus algo, having to keep in mind all the gory details of a specific protocol so as not to shoot yourself in the foot. This is where you should have already started to enjoy jitters if you were to take this avenu entirely on your own. Just think of it as having to run a Bitcoin mining rig for some pocket money. Put simply, DeFi staking frees you from all that hassle.
At this point, let’s recall what decentralized finance is and what it strives to achieve. In broad terms, DeFi aims at offering the same products and services available today in the traditional financial world, but in a trutless and decentralized way. From this perspective, DeFi staking reseblems conventional banking where people put their money in savings accounts to earn interest. Indeed, you could try to lend out your shekels all by yourself, with varying degrees of success, but banks make it far more convenient and secure.
The maturation of the DeFi space advanced the emergence of staking pools and Staking-as-a-Service (SaaS) providers that run nodes for PoS cryptocurrencies on your behalf, allowing you to stake your coins and receive staking rewards. In today’s world, interest rates on traditional savings accounts are ridiculous, while government spending, a handy euphemism for relentless money printing aka fiscal stimulus, is already translating into runaway inflation. Against this backdrop, it is easy to see why staking has been on the rise.
Okay, what are my investment options? Now that we have gone through the basics of the state-of-the-art cryptocurrency staking, you may ask what are the options actually available for a common crypto enthusiast to earn from it? Many high-caliber exchanges like Binance or Bitfinex as well as online wallets such as Coinbase offer staking of PoS coins. In most cases, you don’t even need to do anything aside from simply holding your coins there to start receiving rewards as long as you are eligible and meet the requirements. This is called exchange staking.
Further, there are platforms that specialize in staking digital assets. These are known as Staking-as-a-Service providers, while this form of staking is often referred to as soft staking. They enable even non-tech savvy customers to stake their PoS assets through a third party service, with all the technical stuff handled by the service provider. Most of these services are custodial, with the implication being that you no longer control your coins after you stake them. Figment Networks, MyContainer, Stake Capital are easily the most recognized among SaaS providers.
However, while exchange staking and soft staking have everything to do with finance, they have little to nothing to do with the decentralized part of it, which is, for the record, the primary value proposition of the entire DeFi ecosystem. The point is, you have to deposit the stakable coins into your wallet with these services. And how can it then be considered decentralized? Nah, because DeFi is all about going trustless, no third parties, and, in a narrow sense, no staking that entails the transfer of private keys. This form of staking is called non-custodial, and it is of particular interest from the DeFi point of view.
If you read our article about DeFi, you already know how it is possible, so we won’t dwell on this (if, on the off chance, you didn’t, it’s time to catch up). As DeFi continues to evolve, platforms that allow trustless staking with which you maintain full custody of your coins are set to emerge as well. The space is relatively new, with Staked being probably the first in the field. This type of staking allows you to remain in complete control of your funds, and it perfectly matches DeFi’s ethos, goals and ideals.
Still, our story wouldn’t be complete if we didn’t mention utility tokens where staking may serve a whole range of purposes other than supporting the token network or obtaining passive income. For example, with platforms that deploy blockchain oracles such as Nexus Mutual, a decentralized insurance platform, staking tokens is necessary for encouraging correct reporting on certain events or reaching a consensus on a specific claim. In the case of Nexus Mutual, its membership token NXM is used by the token holders, the so-called assessors, for validating insurance claims. If they fail to assess claims correctly, their stakes are burned.
Another example is Particl Marketplace, a decentralized eCommerce platform, which designed a standalone cryptocurrency dubbed PART. It can be used both as a cryptocurrency in its own right outside the marketplace and as a stakable utility token giving stakers voting rights facilitating the decentralized governance of the entire platform. Yet another example is the instant non-custodial cryptocurrency exchange service, ChangeNOW, that also recently came up with its stakable token, NOW Token, to be used as an internal currency and a means of earning passive income.
What’s next?Nowadays, with most economies on pause or going downhill, staking has become a new avenue for generating passive income outside the traditional financial system. As DeFi continues to eat away at services previously being exclusively provided by conventional financial and banking sectors, we should expect more people to get involved in this activity along with more businesses dipping their toes into these uncharted waters.
Achieving network consensus, establishing decentralized governance, and earning passive income are only three use cases for cryptocurrency staking. No matter how important they are, and they certainly are, there are many other uses along different dimensions that staking can be quite helpful and instrumental for. Again, we are mostly in uncharted waters here, and we can’t reliably say what the future holds for us. On the other hand, we can go and invent it. This should count as next.

Table 1: Days LeadOut of 1334 days in the analysis, Bitmex futures leads the discovery in 571 days or nearly 43% of the duration. Bitfinex leads for 501 days. Bitfinex's high number is due to its extreme dominance in the early days.
Table 2: Correlation between the close price and Exchange's dominance indexBinance, Huobi, CME, and OkCoin had the most significant correlation with the close price. Bitmex, Coinbase, Bitfinex, and Bitstamp's dominance were negatively correlated. This was very interesting. To know more, I captured a yearwise correlation.
Established in 2018, MXC has become a one-stop service provider. It is now able to provide users spot, margin, contract, leveraged ETF, Index Products, Contract, PoS Staking, OTC services.submitted by SimonZhu666 to MXCexchange [link] [comments]
It emerges as one of the fastest growing exchanges in the world. In 2019, the daily trading volume of MXC took 5% of the world’s digital market. Besides, leveraged ETF products on MXC took lion share in the world of the same kind of products based on data from CryptoRank. On top of that, It obtained regulation-compliance licenses in many countries, like U.S., Canada, Australia, etc. and is able to carry out digital asset service in these countries.
In the aspect of OTC trading, MXC established partnership with Simplex, a European regulation-compliance payment company, and Banxa, a legal payment company in South-east Asia, allowing users to use Visa and Mastercard to buy cryptocurrencies, like BTC, ETH, etc. directly.
In the aspect of spot trading, MXC now support over 200 trading pairs. In addition to the top market cap coins and token, it has listed many high-quality DeFi projects, like COMP, MKR, SNX, KNC, LEND, REN, BNT, IDEX, SWTH, OKS, RUNE, KAVA, BAL, UMA, etc. as well as projects of Polkadot ecosystem, like KSM, EDG, PCX, RING, etc.
In the aspect of margin trading, MXC supports the largest number of margin pairs among all exchanges across the globe, with 2 – 10x leverage available. The automatic loan and repayment functions are available. With the coming of the upgraded margin system, the depth, price difference, loan efficiency and matching efficiency have greatly updated.
In the aspect of leveraged ETF, MXC, learned from traditional financial products, introduced in re-balance system, so there’s no liquidation risks in buying leveraged ETF products. Leveraged ETF tracks the changes of the underlying assets with 3x leverage. “3L” products refer to 3x long, while “3S” products 3x short. Now it 3x leverage for 29 cryptocurrencies, including BTC, BCH, BSV, DASH, ZEC, ATOM, XTZ, ALGO, etc.
In the extreme market on March 12, 2020, BTC plummeted a high of 52.36% and the ordinary 3x leverage products for BTC plunged by 157.08%. However, with the re-balance system, the BTC3L product on MXC decreased by 92.96%, lower than the ordinary 3x leverage products and protect the interest of users in some extent. Furthermore, in the following market, the BTC3L product rose by 236%, higher than the 167.41% of ordinary 3x leverage product.
The leveraged ETF once became the label of MXC, "Huobi's OTC, OKex’s contract, MXC’s ETF and Binance's spot." The popularity of leveraged ETFs has attracted many exchanges to follow suit.
In terms of index products, MXC officially launched index products under the ETF zone, including decentralized storage asset index, mainstream cryptocurrency index, DeFi asset index, public chain index, 2020 halving cryptocurrency index.
MXC index products are similar to traditional financial fund products, and each index product is composed of multiple constituent cryptocurrencies. According to the announcement, the MXC Index product will be adjusted according to the average daily turnover ratio of the previous 30 days, that is, the proportion of the component cryptocurrency will be adjusted. If the target does not meet the representativeness and investability, the index may be removed from the product.
Decentralized storage combination components are STORJ, LAMB, GNX, BLZ; mainstream currency combination, components are BTC, ETH, LTC, EOS, ETC, BCH, BSV, XRP; DeFi asset components are KNC, ZRX, KAVA, NEST; Public chain combination, the components are TRX, VET, NEO, QTUM, BTM, ONT, IOST; halving index components are BTC, ETC, BCH, BSV, ZEC, DASH.
Index products can help users not miss the bull market. Any one of the constituent cryptocurrencies increase, the user can make gains. Secondly, it can help avoid the risk of a single cryptocurrency’s plunging. In addition, it can also help save investment time and improve investment efficiency.
In terms of contract transactions, MXC upgraded the contract trading system and launched a new version of the contract in June this year. MXC contract trading currently supports free adjustment of 1-100x leverage multiples. In the isolated margin mode, users can still adjust the leverage multiples after opening a position, and support isolated margin conversion to cross margin, which can help users pursue the market with all their strength.
It supports users to place stop profit and stop loss orders at the same time, while occupying only one margin. It supports Post Only (Maker only) and IOC (Immediately or cancel all) strategies. Under Post Only (Maker only), the user will not immediately place an order on the market when placing an order, to ensure that the order is always Maker (pending order), saving handling fees. IOC function, that is, if the order cannot be fully executed, the rest will be cancelled.
For example, the BTC price index of MXC selects the bitcoin spot prices of 6 exchanges, namely: Coinbase, Bitstamp, Binance, Huobi, OKEx, Bitfinex. If the spot price of an exchange deviates from the median of all exchanges by ±3%, the spot price of the exchange is calculated according to the median of ±3%. Use reasonable prices for liquidation, which are based on index prices.
In addition, underlined proper nouns on the webpage, as long as the mouse points up, the corresponding explanation will be displayed, which is convenient for users to understand.
In terms of PoS pools, MXC supports three types of PoS: Saving, Staking and Lending. Among them, PoS saving does not need to lock assets, and holding assets can obtain income.

here it is AMA time! Introducing u/Chao Wang — COO Bitpie Wallet and u/Kong our ambassador from China! AMA Duration: 35 minutes Rounds: Team Round (first 20 min) and Community Round (last 15 min)Chao Wang
Thx Daniel About myself, I heard bitcoin in 2013, started buying and a little bit mining by end of that year. And of course, I lose a lot of money during the market collapse in 2014–15, just like a lot of friends just suffered in the past weeks. Luckily, as a hodler, I didn’t sell any coin during bear market and most of those coins are still in my wallet until today. In 2017 I joined Bitpie. Prior to that, I have been in the traditional IT industry for more than a decade. During my 15-years career, I have worked for organizations including online service company, big data company and IT services company. Responsible for IT system, product R&D, business management and has been stationed in the United States to manage a series of project cooperate with IT giants such as Microsoft and Cisco. My last role before joining Bitpie was the general manager of a business division at one of largest IT service companies in China, managing the solution business related to new technologies such as cloud computing and AI, also got some chance to work with partner for business-oriented blockchain PoC projects. It is a tough time for everyone, it is my great honor to have the opportunity to meet and learn from you guys at this special moment.Kong
Hi, all. I am Kong from Bitpie Wallet. Also ambassador of Algorand Beijing. I have been working for Bitpie since 2018 and now mainly in charge of marketing job. Tonight, Mr Wang chao will bring us his presentation and I will help answer questions if needed. Long for Bitpie and AlgorandDaniel
Thanks a lot for sharing your introduction u/Chao Wang u/Kong! Seems you have been in the industry since a long while! Glad to have your experience and support for Algorand! Really appreciate Bitpie as a global partner of Algorand and you have also supported ASA these days. Could you tell us more about Bitpie Wallet and what do you think about the cooperation with Algorand?Chao Wang
Bitpie is an industry-leading non-custody wallet with very high market penetration in Asia area. We have been focused on the blockchain wallet for more than six years. As a professional wallet service provider, we have 3 wallet products. Bitpie Wallet — a multi-chain wallet with DeFi and DApp portal along with a lot of other crypto-based scenarios. Bither Wallet, a bitcoin.org recommended open-sourced bitcoin wallet. BitHD — an open-sourced multichain Hardware cold Wallet. Among 3 products, Bitpie is the most famous one. Our products helped millions of global users manage dozens of billions of US Dollars’ worth of cryptocurrencies in the past 6 years with 0 security accident. We are also very proud of being a contributor to the early blockchain community for we introduced a variety of novel technologies in the field of cryptology and security. The cooperation between Algorand and Bitpie began in 2018 when we met Professor Micali and Steven for the first time in Beijing. The conversation was very pleasant and soon determined willingness of both parties to cooperate. In 2019, with the launch of the Algorand mainnet, we have 360-degree cooperation with Algorand in technology, network, marketing and ecosystem support. With the launch of Algorand 2.0 and ASA assets, great innovations are emerging on Algorand blockchain. We are very happy to participate in this process and look forward to more cooperation in the future.Daniel
Thank you for the detailed introduction about Bitpie and your cooperation with Algorand! Do you have large market share for BTC, USDT or any other currencies in Asia?Chao Wang
Yes, we are the most popular BTC wallet in Asia, and for stable currencies, we are probably the wallet with №1 volume in the world 🙂 I would like to say more about USDT.Daniel
Sure please go ahead!Chao Wang
We all know Stable coin is extremely important for a public chain ecology. As a wallet operator, our experience in this area is direct, and we have observed a lot in the past when the stable currency market and the underlying public chain were constantly changing. Before the launch of Algorand USDT, we had several conversations with foundation and shared our understanding of this market. Each public chain has unique development route, and this route also determine the market development route of stable currency on that Chain. The application-oriented blockchain is still in a very early stage, now it is difficult to determine which direction is better and more likely to succeed. But no matter which route you take, one thing is for sure, which is to increase the usability as much as possible and help users reduce the barrier. This is the main reason why erc20 USDT can take most of the market share from omni USDT. Market promotion is also very important. If Algorand has some related plans in the future, Bitpie as the direct entry point to reach users, is very willing to provide help as much as we can.Daniel
Glad to see our goals align Chao 🙂 We wish to have Algorand- USDT as major value capture on Algo public chain! Really excited to explore more use-cases and co-marketing opportunities with you. While on the subject, I noticed you have DeFi and Dapp portal. As a leading wallet provider, what do you think is the future of wallets ? Is it DeFi, something else?Chao Wang
Yes, DeFi and DApp are extremely important for wallet. But that not all we are aiming for. In the past, wallet is viewed as a tool that managed private keys to send and receive assets. With the emergence of various scenarios in the blockchain world, the functions integrated on the blockchain wallet today have far exceeded asset sending and receiving. Almost all major wallets on the market have integrated different forms of coin trade. Staking, voting, Borrowing & Lending functions have also been integrated into wallet. More wallets have even begun to support Dapp and DeFi based on different blockchain networks, thereby introducing more open scenarios. But we see that the users of the wallet are all users who already have crypto assets and already has some understanding of the blockchain. However, the proportion of such users in the entire society is very small, and currently there are few wallets or applications that can develop people who do not know the blockchain through their own scenarios. I think that will change in the future. There will be a variety of innovations constantly emerging, and some of them, although possibly a small part, will draw quite a lot of people from the general community to blockchain world. They are not typical crypto asset holders, and they do not understand what a blockchain is or what an oval algorithm is. In fact, they don’t need to understand. Both public chains and wallets will evolve, allowing ordinary users to enjoy the innovation brought to them by the blockchain without perception. At that time, the wallet, as a carrier of rights and on-chain identities, will be closely related to people’s daily lives. And the form of the wallet will be very different from now. For the simplest example, suppose a billion people have entered the world of blockchain. Can you imagine all one billion people are writing down mnemonic words like current wallet users? That’s not possible.Daniel
You make quite a few interesting points Chao. Mnemonic words is an interesting one as well! Since we are running low on time, my last question would be on Algorand itself. What are your thoughts about Algorand? 🙂Chao Wang
I have worked in the IT service industry for many years. The clients I have dealt with involve various industries, finance, manufacturing, retail, transportation, government. My major business focus was to provide them with the underlying business support systems. This gives me some understanding of the fundamental supporting of commercial facilities. In these mature business ecosystems, there is a complete and meticulous industry chain collaboration. Some are responsible for basic technical/science innovations, and some are responsible for the implementation of the underlying platform based on these innovations. Some people use their technical capabilities to design solutions suitable for the industry, and some people apply these solutions to help them expand their business. In the end, no matter how many layers are passed, it is the consumers who pay for all of this. Of course, consumers also enjoy the convenience brought by technological development and industrial chain collaboration. Blockchain system will also play the role to support business. However, blockchain technology and ecology are still very early, such industrial collaboration cannot yet be formed. Some public chains have focused on faster and more direct 2C scenarios. This is understandable, but in my opinion, industrial collaboration will eventually come, and at that time, tens of millions of people will enjoy the beauty that blockchain technology brings to everyone. Compared with other public chains, Algorand’s path is very solid, and it is constantly laying the foundation, not only the technical foundation, but also the basis of industrial chain collaboration. This process may not be that fast, but I think it is all necessary.Daniel
Appreciate you sharing your thoughts Chao! We are really committed towards industrial collaboration. You summed it all up really well! I will be compiling a full blog-post and publishing it for those who couldn’t join the AMA u/here Community Round can start now! You can ask any questions that you have! This one would run for the next 15 minutes.Chao Wang
Thanks Daniel!Benjamin Lim
Really appreciate the time you guys are taking to have this AMA For Bitpie, which countries are most popular for using your wallet service? By the looks of it asia, but curious on where the majority of users are from? 😄Chao Wang
As a team from China, users from China take the largest part. But our penetration in Southeast Asian countries is also very high. Some of our users are in China, our team are based on Hong Kong. We welcome and embrace regulation relate to wallet service. This is a must done thing before blockchain permeate everyone’s life.Nate Hamilton
Will you be offering any kind of staking on the POS networks you support?Chao Wang
Yes, we are providing Staking services for blockchains such as Cosmos and EOS .Benjamin Lim
I suppose there’s interest in increasing the number of tokens that can be staked on your platform yep?Chao Wang
Yes, everyone want to manage their asset in one wallet rather than install wallet for each blockchain network.Benjamin Lim
You’re right .. Binance is quite fierce in adopting new staking servicestoo it must be a challenge to gain market shareSteviekusu
does the wallet support other cryptocurrencies/erc20 tokens?Chao Wang
Yes, we support 30+ blockchain network including BTC/ETH/Algorand. All ERC20 Tokens is supported.

Listing Was Announced To Take Place At The Early Hours Of This Thursday, 20th February 2020
Binance.US started full operations in January with registration launched back in September 2019. The company claims to be "America's new home for trading digital assets," with support for 24 cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin (BTC), BNB, Ethereum (ETH), XRP, Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Litecoin (LTC) and Tether (USDT), Algorand (ALGO), Basic Attention Token (BAT), Cardano (ADA), Chainlink (LINK), Dash (DASH), Ethereum Classic (ETC), IOTA (IOTA), NEO (NEO), Stellar (XLM), Zcash (ZEC), and more.
The latest Zilliqa addition comes only one week after listing and promoting Ontology (ONT) on its platform. The ONT/USD and ONT/USDT trading pairs have been live since last week on Binance.US. Most of the Binance technologies, including "matching exchange engine and wallet technologies" are operated by San Francisco-based BAM Trading Services.
According to Binance, the Zilliqa platform is designed with scalability in mind, providing an open, distributed, and permission-less blockchain network. "The current network transaction speed is around 3000 transactions-per-second (TPS) if a total of 1,000 nodes in the blockchain. Compared, Ethereum only supports 15 transactions-per-second. The 2142 dApps, running on Ethereum's network are further bottlenecking the project's efficiency. The current TPS of the Zilliqa blockchain is close to that of VISA or MasterCard, but with much lower transaction fees", Binance announced.
However, trading for Zilliqa is still in preparation, but clients can already deposit USD, BUSD, or ZIL in their Binance wallets. Trading of ZIL/USD and ZIL BUSD trading pairs is scheduled to go live at 21:00 EST on February 20, 2020.
Pricewise, Zilliqa, as well as most of the top-100 cryptocurrencies, are closely tied to the price movements of Bitcoin. Crypto experts are expecting substantial Bitcoin price swings in 2020. CaptainAltcoin predicts ZIL's price to double its price from the end of 2019.
The main reason why Zilliqa may face an upward push is the improved scalability of the network, commonly known as sharding. Sharting resembles the distribution of data across a vast array of machines, which improves data management. Zilliqa is the first significant blockchain to implement such sharding. If Zilliqa succeeds in going over 10,000 TPS, the world could see the first real-world use cases, which would further solidify the role of blockchain technology in the modern business.
CaptainAltcoin also did a price prediction, doubting the price for 1 ZIL to surpass 1$ soon. The reason – the considerable inflation that Zilliqa suffers from, as well as Zilliqa still not releasing 60% of their total token supply. "Reaching a price value of $10 per 1 ZIL is rather nonsensical, as the project is still small to hold the price," CaptainAltcoin concluded.

Our team has developed and is supporting the trading terminal MoonBot which was introduced in October 3, 2017. Currently, the performance of MoonBot surpasses that of most existing trading systems as a result of its advanced functionality and the high security features designed to protect your trading activities.
Secure Connection to the Exchange
The connection from MoonBot to an Exchange is carried out using special keys that the user receives from an exchange such as Binance or Bittrex.
MoonBot connects securely to cryptocurrency trading Exchanges through two special keys which are uniquely and only known to their owner. These are the API key, and the Secret key, both of which the users receives directly from the Exchange.
The MoonBot terminal then receives data and information from the exchange’s API collected at several different access levels, including:
Public information (publicly accessible data related to trading in general):
The MoonBot terminal provides completely private storage of all your personal data!
The MoonBot team has absolutely no access to personal data, you are the only one controlling its security and have complete control over access to your details.
The MoonBot team are not able to withdraw, nor to move, any funds from your personal Exchange account or wallet.
You can therefore safely use the terminal for trading, receiving public information from the Exchange, and should you wish to share with others, the trading data on your account.
You therefore are the only person with control and access to your Exchange wallet, and can be completely assured of the absolute security of your private funds.
Lightning-fast Execution of the Orders on the Exchange and Order Status Update
Depending on the distance of the user from the exchange servers, the delay in order execution should not exceed 1 second. Theoretically, the delay can be reduced to a minimum intangible — 10–20 ms. Below is presented a very short extract(4 seconds in total) of the MoonBot log text file with brief explanations and highlights of the key features.
The MoonBot log text file with brief explanations and highlights of the key features.
Tick Chart. Display of All Orders on the Chart
Thanks to the API connection to the exchange, the terminal receives stream data of all filled orders on the exchange as soon as they were processed by the exchange servers and immediately displays them on the chart.
Thus, the visualization of the current state of the market is provided in real time with an accuracy of tens of milliseconds and as detailed as displaying each order on the chart.
Auto Trading on Signals
Fully automatic processing and trading off Telegram signals as well as parced TradingView alerts.
Automatic Detection of Market Conditions and Reaction to its Changes
Thanks to streaming data acquisition, the terminal monitors all available markets simultaneously, and is therefore able to react almost instantaneously as favorable trading possibilities are presented. And due to the minimal delay in the execution of orders, MoonBot responds to abnormal changes almost instantly.
Advanced Orders. Stop Loss, Take Profit, Trailing Stop
OCO orders (one cancels the other) are one of the most sought-after functions from both the Exchanges providing liquidity to the markets, and applications running on top of the exchanges. The modern Trader cannot trade without the basic “smart” functions and addons to traditional exchange orders and considers them to be the minimum necessary set in their armory.
One of the most important tools for Traders is to be able to place orders whilst practicing safe money management in order to mitigate against losses. One of the most important safety tools is to use a Stop Loss, which is especially important in volatile, low liquidity markets.
With MoonBot, the user can set a Stop Loss threshold (either as a percentage of the order price, or as a number of price points), which their strategy can accept should the price move in the opposite direction to that expected. When this threshold value has been reached, the order will be closed automatically.
Technically, a Stop Loss can be set up in two ways: either as a stop-limit order placed directly on the exchange at the same time as the initial position is opened; or as a function controlled in real-time by the MoonBot terminal itself. Additional types of conditional Stop Loss functions include:
At the moment, MoonBot has 13 types of strategies in-built (manual) using specific and well-proven algorithms (algorithmic trading or algo-trading).
Together these have more than 200 adjustable parameters that can be adjusted to optimize their profitability across the wide range of trending and ranging markets that occur.
MoonBot includes a successful and well-tested Trusted Management feature, in other words — Copy Trading:
Trust Management is successfully implemented and used by members of our community. The statistics of those TM Traders who share their results can be reviewed on the website — stat.moon-bot.com on the RatingTM tab.
During the two years of development of the MoonBot terminal, more than 30,000 copies have been registered and used by our Community of Traders.
Every day several thousand people trade cryptocurrencies using the MoonBot terminal, making daily approximately one hundred thousand manual and automatic transactions only on the leading crypto-currency exchange — Binance.
The existing community of traders is actively developing. The MoonBot project has its own active pages on popular social networks, in dedicated Telegram channels divided by topics, and also its own Trader’s forum available to subscribers.

The current Support team is actively assisting users and resolving their issues through dedicated Telegram channels.
Hiya folks! Starting today and over the next 10-12 days, I'll attempt to catch up on all the pending weekly updates. Seeing how much goes on in Parachute + partnerverse in a week, this is going to be a humongous challenge. Let's see how it goes. Wish me luck! Our good friends at Uptrennd, did a shoutout to a previous weekly update. You guys rock! And this is why making these updates is so worthwhile. This week's post is easily going to be the biggest one yet. Here's your week at Parachute (29 March to 4 April):submitted by abhijoysarkar to ParachuteToken [link] [comments]
Parenas were aplenty this week. Starting with the weekly Parena which Alexis won to take home a lion’s share from the 200k PAR pot. Alexis also picked the Metallica theme Parena spoils by beating Kamo in a quick finale battle and claimed his rightful share from the 100k PAR pool. And finally, we had a WED Parena after a long time. Chris sponsored 1M WED for the Parena pot, and almost won the winner’s share if not for Clinton whose Zebra beat Chris’ Mink to claim top spot. Damn! That’s a ton of PAR and WED given away in a single week in Parenas. Jason hosted the first ever Parachute-based trivia instead of the normal Gamee games for the week. It’s been a fun ride with even Cap and Ice getting stumped by one of the questions.
3-2-1, Kamo goes down! Alexis is victorious!
We are also starting to see multiple Parachute partners collaborating with each other. Zachary from BOMB joined Jeff from Uptrennd for a live stream chat on what the future holds for the crypto market. In other BOMB news, the BOMB puzzle stayed unsolved. 1000 BOMB tokens were burned as a result. The riddle was about Vitalik Buterin’s death hoax. To prove that he was alive, Vitalik had uploaded a picture of the latest block size. The answer could be reached by hashing together the block reward and parent block and finally adding gas at the end. ETHOS followed up its BOMB listing with a featured article explaining what the project was all about. Folks who haven’t had the chance to read up on BOMB yet, check it out. Did you know that ETHOS has been acknowledging good conversations in their Telegram channel using ParJar for quite some time now? Read here about it and join in! The latest updates to the dev diary and dashboard were made this week. Also, if you aren’t on Uptrennd yet, check out this article on MrBTC to find out what you’re missing out. “Uptrennd currently share around 80% of the websites revenue with their users”. Boom!
PoL – Proof-of-Life
In Cryzen-world, all Free accounts participating in the Battle of the Bots #1 Competition were upgraded to Starter accounts for the month of April. Simulation sharing is now live on the Cryzen Code Studio thanks to Robin. Any backtest can now be shared with the world using a link. Click here to check the test run of Shuvro’s Mean Reversal algorithm. Once there, you will be able to use the Share button and social links on top to share the backtest with friends. Plus, the algo-of-the-week would have to be Shuvro’s Mean Reversal bot live trading ETC on Binance netting an ROI of ~16%. Pretty neat!
This beauty looks like a contender for the Battle of the Bots
Matthew sat down for a tete-a-tete with Ben (Ethfinex) to talk about the aXpire project. While AXPR didn’t make it to Ethfinex in the vote (more on that in the next update), the greatest takeaway was the community and influencer support that came along the way. Roger Ver, J.D. Salbego, That Martini Guy and Crypto Mobster (Ash Davidson) were some of the well known personalities that got behind aXpire. Oh Hey Matty’s review of AXPR also came out this week. And there’s not enough that could be said of the awesomeness of the aXpire community. They came out in numbers to back up the project and vote. In the next update, we will share how the community gave exceptional support during the voting phase. On a lighter note, this was also April Fool’s week. aXpire’s prank turned out to be so believable that some folks got stumped. The team had to change the headline and add an “EDIT” to emphasise that it was a joke. Haha! Remember, aXpire’s visit to SOS Children’s Village in India? Here’s some pictures from the visit. The monthly AXPR burn was also this week. 110k AXPR gone forever. Congratulations to the Telegram contest winners for snagging 100 USD worth of AXPR each! And finally, click here and here for a sneak peek at the MatchBX redesign. Stay tuned for more! Below is a big picture view of how aXpire is building adoptable blockchain infrastructure for all:

The V label means that the project team is itself providing relevant information on Binance Info. As part of the Ethfinex voting process, Ben interviewed Mark Anstead, Hydrogen head of BD. Hydro will be BUIDLing a Bitfinex/Ethfinex/NEC centred dApp if they make it to the top 3 in the votes. In more BUIDL news, the upcoming Hydro dAppStore could look like the following:

Good day everyone! Here’s another update for the whirlwind week we had at Parachute and Parachute/ParJar partners. IRL work keeps me from churning these out on time. A cool new community started to interact with ParJar this week. HYDRO was added to ParJar and ParJar added to the Hydro group. Fantom did a shoutout and CoinPedia also tweeted about ParJar. Thank you guys! Which makes me think, if this shoutout of the shoutout to our original shoutout is shoutouted by Fantom again, would it be a shoutoutception? Hmm. Also, we had our quirkiest game in ParJar yet. Parachuters had to use this site to find the most bizarre item. Best ones would win some cool PAR. Haha! The top picks were from Patri cko, Cryptovan and Clinton.
